eml Architects are celebrating 40 years in business this year.
The practice was founded in Limerick and has Limerick and Dublin offices. It is one of the foremost Architectural Design Studios in the Mid-West.
Their most recent designs in Limerick City include all buildings on the Analog Devices Campus, the Dominican Library (now Engine Hub), Ennis Road Motors, and Hyde Road Apartments. eml have designed offices for Northern Trust, AMCS and ACI and have also worked on the Colbert Station and Mungret Masterplans. Their current Public Works include housing projects in Counties Clare, Cork, Waterford, and Tipperary, as well as a Library and a Cultural Hub in Templemore.
The firm won two prestigious Awards at the recent Irish Council for Social Housing Community Awards for their Stanwix Village project in Thurles, picking up the Best Restoration Project and the People’s Choice Award for 2023.
