About the role
As a Senior Reporter you will:
Produce news stories on a daily basis for our websites - crime reports, council news, profile pieces
Engage and contribute to setting the daily news agenda for the title
Help compile newsletters for our readers online
Promote online content on social media accounts
Assist with the schedule of web stories
Assign content for the smooth production of the Limerick Leader newspaper - its main broadsheet title which is available on Wednesdays, and its Monday morning newspaper.
About you
You’ll be an experienced journalist, with a number of years reporting in the district and circuit courts. You will have a keen eye for news and engaging content, strong attention to detail and the desire to break the story first - online and in print is a must.
You will have the ability to work under pressure in a performance driven environment and possess a can-do attitude showing adaptability would make this role the perfect challenge for you.
A full driving licence and your own transport would be a distinct advantage.
