Contribute to scientific research: join Atlantia’s paid gut health study
As innovative studies continue to unveil the significant impact of a healthy gut microbiome on our overall health, a local research team is currently seeking volunteers to join their latest gut health study.
The best bit? They’ll even pay you to take part.
Atlantia Clinical Trials is currently looking for older adults between the ages of 50-70 years to take part in a paid research study investigating the effects of a Vitamin B2 supplement on gut health.
As well as some fascinating insights into the world of gut health, each participant will receive €450 upon completion of the study in return for their time and any expenses.
Operating mainly in Cork, Atlantia Clinical Trials enrols thousands of participants annually for human health studies. Their main goal is to explore natural ways to prevent and treat various illnesses and diseases. For the next month, a temporary site has been set up in Limerick, inviting the people of the city to participate in their vitamin B2 gut health study, and get paid for their time!
What does the study involve?
During the three-month period, you will be required to attend three visits to Atlantia’s clinic in Limerick. Each visit lasts approximately 90 minutes.
You will be required to consume the vitamin b2 supplement or placebo daily for 3 months. You will also be required to fill out a daily electronic diary to note your bowel habits, product consumption & any medication use.
Once the study is complete, you will receive payment of €450 for your time.
Where is the clinic?
Our Limerick clinic is located at: SAI House, Lonsdale Road, National Technology Park, Plassey, Limerick, V94 RT7C
