ST MUNCHIN'S College secured Munster Schools Senior Cup glory when defeating Presentation Brothers College of Cork in the 1982 final.
St Munchin's won on a scoreline to 14-7 in front of a packed Thomond Park. This victory was only the second time the Limerick school had won the Senior Cup and the Corbally side's first success since 1968.
St Munchin's who were captained to victory by Pat Murray, had tries from Geoff Moylan and David Dineen, while Willie Quinlan added the remaining points with the boot.
