SUPPORTERS turned out in large numbers to cheer on local rivals Crescent College Comprehensive and Árdscoil Rís in the Limerick City Schools U16 Junior Cup rugby final on the back pitch at Thomond Park on Wednesday.
At the end of an exciting, hard fought game, Ardscoil Rís defeated the Dooradoyle side on an 8-0 scoreline.
The sides will now switch their focus to the start of the knock-out stages of the Munster Schools Junior Cup in the New Year.
