Former Munster Rugby star named as part of the incoming All Blacks coaching ticket

Former Munster Rugby centre and backs coach Jason Holland will be part of the new All Blacks coaching ticket. PICTURE: Sportsfile

FORMER Munster Rugby player and coach Jason Holland has been announced as part of the new All Blacks coaching team under incoming head coach Scott Robertson.

'Dutchy' Holland will be assistant to new backs coach and former New Zealand full back Leon McDonald. Jason Ryan and Scott Hanson are the other members of the new-look coaching staff.

Former Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt is not part of the new set up. He is an assistant coach to Ian Foster and will remain in that role until after this year's World Cup.

Holland is currently head coach of New Zealand side the Hurricanes. He played over 100 times for Munster and was a coach under Tony McGahan.
