THE fixture details for this season’s Munster Schools Girls Senior and Junior Cup finals have been confirmed.
Both finals will take on place on Wednesday, March 15 in Musgrave Park with the Junior Cup final kicking off at 12.30pm and the Senior Cup final kicking off at 2.30pm.
The Senior Cup final will be contested by Limerick's Árdscoil Mhuire and St Anne’s Community College and the Junior Cup final will also see St Anne’s Community College involved and they will be up against Coláiste Íde Dingle who are in the competition for the first time this year.
There was just one semi-final match left across both competitions and today St Anne’s Community College secured their passage into the Junior Cup final thanks to a 36-15 win over Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí in UL.
St Anne’s held a 19-0 half-time lead thanks to two tries from Mia Hennelly and one from Grace Dillon with Charlie Dillon notching two conversions. Among the try scorers in the second-half for St Anne’s were Aimee Reilly, Hennelly and Grace Dillon with Charlie Dillon adding another conversion.
Bantry responded with tries from Muireann McCarthy, Mary Fox and Grace Kingston.
