Deaths in Limerick - December 2, 2018

The death has occurred (peacefully, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice) of Marie Holmes (née O'Sullivan) of Ballincollig, Cork. Late of Kilmallock, Limerick.

beloved wife of Tommy and loving mother of Todd, Dermot, Noel and the late Billy and David. Sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, daughter’s-in-law Helen, Norma, Mary, Pauline and Eithne; her carer Amy; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Sheila, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal from Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig at 7pm this Sunday to the Church of St. Mary and St. John, Ballincollig.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday (December 3) followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice.

 

The death has occurred of Hugh (Jack) Garahee of Luton, London. Late of Gortlassobrien and Curraghmore, Boher, Ballina and Caherdavin, Limerick – Ex Roadstone, Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, cousins neighbours relatives and friends.

Remains will arrive at Boher Church this Sunday at 7pm with Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.30am followed by burial in Burgess Graveyard.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully, following a short illness) of Tony Price of Mountshannon Road, Lisnagry, Limerick – Late of the Limerick Leader.

Husband of the late Mary and deeply regretted by his loving daughters Maureen (Walsh, Bruff) and Sabrina (Marsh, Spain), son Albert (Kilmaley, Ennis), sisters Elsie (Hehir) and Geraldine (O'Connor), brothers Eddie and Dermot, grandchildren Amee, Carrie, Zara, Megan, Tonya, Stephen and his two predeceased grandsons Jason and James, sons in law Tommy & Gavin, daughter in law Caroline, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing this Monday evening from 6pm at Griffin's Funeral Home, Pennywell, Limerick, followed by removal at 7.30pm to St Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen.

Funeral Tuesday (December 4) after 12 noon requiem Mass to Kilmurray Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Milford Care Centre and the Irish Cancer Society.

 

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Cronin of Newtown, Clarina.

Dearly loved father of Emma, Andrew, Evan and Rachael. Beloved brother of the late Margaret. Sadly missed by his close friends Jane and Laura, daughters-in-law Kellie and Agi, son-in-law Joao, 10 grandchildren, brothers Tony and Pat, sisters Anne and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm.

Humanist service will take place on Wednesday (December 5) in Shannon Crematorium at 12 noon.

The death has occurred (peacefully) of Nancy O'Sullivan (née Forde) of Monaleen Heights, Monaleen, Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late Denis. Very deeply regretted by her loving children Donagh, Máire, Dara, Diarmuid, Niamh, Marta, Manus, Cillian and Piaras; daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister Nonie, brothers Jimmy, Hugh and Michéal; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home on Monday (December 3) from 5pm to pm.

Funeral will arrive at Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen on Tuesday (December 4) for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm.

Burial afterwards in Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy.

The death has occurred (peacefully at Milford Hospice) of Luci Flynn (née Fitzgibbon) of St. Lua’s Villas, Killaloe, Clare / Formerly of Church Road Raheen, Limerick

Sadly missed by daughter Amanda, sons Allon, Jonathan, brother Tom, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, niece Orlaith.

Reposing at her residence St Lua’s Villas, from 5pm to 8pm Sunday December 2

Funeral mass St Flannan’s Church Killaloe on Monday at 11am, burial afterwards in Relig Lua Killaloe.

House private on Monday morning, family flowers only donations to Molua’s Clare Care Centre.
