The death has occurred of Emma O’Connor of Pearse Park, Tipperary Town. Late of Caherconlish, Limerick.

Daughter of the late Bill and sadly missed by her sons Dylan and Will; mother Phyllis; sisters Helena, Joeline and Theresa; partner Paul, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary, this Saturday from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11am with burial afterwards at St Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary.


The death has occurred (peacefully) of Nora McAuliffe (née Tierney) of Lower Athea, Athea.

Deeply regretted by her loving sons Bill, John and Mike, daughter Joan (Horgan Listowel); daughters-in-law Rose, Denise and Catherine; grandchildren Denis (Horgan Listowel), Lisa, Ashling, Shauna, Lorcan, Liam, Tony and Mark; great-grandson Seán Óg, sister-in-law Margaret (O’Connor), Piotr, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athea this Saturday from 6pm to 8.30pm followed by removal to St. Bartholomew’s Church.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers to The Family Carers Ireland (Limerick Branch).


The death has occurred (peacefully, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice) of Marie Holmes (née O'Sullivan) of Ballincollig, Cork. Late of Kilmallock, Limerick.

beloved wife of Tommy and loving mother of Todd, Dermot, Noel and the late Billy and David. Sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, daughter’s-in-law Helen, Norma, Mary, Pauline and Eithne; her carer Amy; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Sheila, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig where Rosary will be said this Saturday at 8.30pm.

Removal on Sunday (December 2) at 7pm to the Church of St. Mary and St. John, Ballincollig.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday (December 3) followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice.


The death has occurred of Hugh (Jack) Garahee of Luton, London. Late of Gortlassobrien and Curraghmore, Boher, Ballina and Caherdavin, Limerick – Ex Roadstone, Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, cousins neighbours relatives and friends.

Remains will arrive at Boher Church this Sunday at 7pm with Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.30am followed by burial in Burgess Graveyard.

Husband of the late Mary and deeply regretted by his loving daughters Maureen (Walsh, Bruff) and Sabrina (Marsh, Spain), son Albert (Kilmaley, Ennis), sisters Elsie (Hehir) and Geraldine (O'Connor), brothers Eddie and Dermot, grandchildren Amee, Carrie, Zara, Megan, Tonya, Stephen and his two predeceased grandsons Jason and James, sons in law Tommy & Gavin, daughter in law Caroline, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing this Monday evening from 6pm at Griffin's Funeral Home, Pennywell, Limerick, followed by removal at 7.30pm to St Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen.

Funeral Tuesday (December 4) after 12 noon requiem Mass to Kilmurray Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Milford Care Centre and the Irish Cancer Society.
