Deaths in Limerick - April 27, 2018

The death has occurred (peacefully at UHL) of Timothy (Timmy) Cagney of Ballyagran, County Limerick.

Beloved husband of Nellie and dear father of Eamonn, John, Brendan, Mairead, Martin and Pat.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Saturday evening from 5pm to 8pm.

Reception into St. Michael's Church, Ballyagran on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm with burial afterwards to Colmanswell Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully at home) of Edward (Eddie) O’Sullivan of Bawnmore, Ardpatrick, County Limerick.

Husband of the late Mary (nee Magner) and sadly missed by his daughter Helen; sons Donal and Eamon; son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at John McCarthy & Sons Funeral Home, Kilfinane this Friday from 6pm to 8pm, with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ardpatrick.

Requiem Mass Saturday at 11am and burial immediately afterwards in local cemetery.

 

The death has occurred of Patrick Portley of Glenview, Ballyneety, County Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his wife Breda, son John, daughters Tracy and Tara, sons-in-law Michael and Mike, daughter-in-law Pauline, grandchildren, brothers Jimmy, Michael, Anthony and Morgan, sisters Mary (Mc Guire) and Helen (O' Brien), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Ballyneety, this Friday from 6pm followed by removal at 7.30pm to St. Patrick's Church, Knockea.

Requiem Mass on Saturday (April 28) at 11am with burial afterwards to Inch St. Laurence Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully at home) of John (Joe) Smyth of Reston Close, Westbury, Corbally. Late taxi driver.

Father of the late Diarmuid and deeply regretted by his wife Merette, son Eoin; daughters Jill, Aoife and Òrla; grandchildren David, Allie, Saoirse, Riley, Harper and Cian; daughter-in-law Rachel; sons-in-law Shaun and Peter, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family circle and friends.

Rremoval from his home at 7pm this Friday to to St. Nicholas’ Church, Westbury.

Requiem Mass Saturday on Saturday at 10am with burial afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
