Manchester United will be coming to Dublin this summer to play Athletic Bilbao in a pre-season friendly at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, August 6.

The Red Devils, who won this year's Carabao Cup and claimed a top-four place in the Premier League, concluded their 2022/23 season with an FA Cup runners-up medal following a 2-1 defeat to neighbours Manchester City last weekend.

Erik ten Hag's side travel to the US for their pre-season tour this July with the Dublin date being set the weekend before the 2023/24 Premier League campaign kicks off.

United last played at the Aviva Stadium in 2017 when they faced Italian outfit Sampdoria in a pre-season encounter.
