PICTURES: Festival in a Van gets show on the road in Limerick

PHOTOGRAPHER Brendan Gleeson was out an about at a Festival in a Van at The Crescent in Limerick city on Sunday, August 18.

The Crescent, from the junction of Hartstonge Street/Lower Hartstonge Street to the junction of Barrington Street/Newenham Street, closed for portions of the month of August.

Mayor John Moran offered residents, businesses and community groups the chance to use the streets of Limerick in August, prioritising the use of streets for activation over vehicular traffic. One of the events was a Festival in a Van.

The mobile live arts event is back on Friday, August 30 in The Crescent, O'Connell Avenue. Artists will be taking to the stage from 12pm with the last show beginning at 4pm.
