Dance Limerick presented the premiere of Of the People, a Step Up 2024 Production by Catherine Young
The project is a partnership between Dance Limerick, the Arts Council of Ireland, The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick and Dance Ireland and is now in its 14th annual edition.

Performances took place on Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8, at Dance Limerick's Performance Space in John’s Square.
It was described as "a beautiful piece that paid homage to Limerick with a highly physical, rhythmic celebration of people and place".
