IRELAND have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup following a comprehensive 36-14 victory over Scotland at Stade de France in Paris on Saturday night.
More than 30,000 rugby supporters travelled to the French capital for the final pool game while thousands more were out and about in Limerick city to watch the match in pubs and clubs.
Photographer Brendan Gleeson was in the Limerick city centre to sample the atmosphere.
