THE STILL In Good Working Order exhibition, set against the backdrop of the Parkway Shopping Centre, provides a visual narrative that challenges stereotypes and preconceived notions about senior citizens.
Through David Lane's lens, these portraits convey the enduring relevance, wisdom, and beauty of older individuals in our society.
"I was delighted to host several of my portrait sitters and welcome family, friends and other photography enthusiasts on the night," said David.
"Sincere thanks to all the people that supported me to exhibit stage and to the ongoing flow of visitors. I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the positive feedback and the encouragement that I have received to grow this project further."
After a successful release at the city venue, the project will soon include new portraits and are due to be on display in the Limerick Museum during January.
"The 1930s Bessa camera that I used to make the portraits, like the sitters is Still In Good Working Order," added the photographer.
