DAY 2 of the National Ploughing Championships is continuing at Ratheniska in County Laois.
More than 66,000 people attended the opening day but a larger attendance is expected this Wednesday due to the more favourable weather conditions.
Earlier, around 1,000 people attended the Macra na Feirme welly-throwing competition where a new world record (995) was set for throwing the most wellies into the air at the same time.
