GARDAÍ are now appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Limerick City.
Both gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision, involving a truck and a pedestrian, on the Corbally Road.
This occurred shortly before 12:30pm on Saturday, November 22.
The female pedestrian was brought to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. No other injuries have been reported.

The road is currently closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling on the Corbally Road in Limerick City between 11:45am and 12:45pm on November 22 are asked to provide it to investigating Gardaí.
