Recent Death: The death took place in England of Marie Murphy (nee Riordan) formerly 42 St Michael’s Terrace, Cappamore at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband ,Willie, sons John & Paul, sisters, Esther McKenna, Moore Street, Nancy Ryan, Old Pallas, brother, James, Limerick, aunt Betty in London. Requiem Mass was at Our Lady of Canvey Church , Essex on Wednesday 6 November. Burial took place afterwards in Benfleet Cemetery, Essex.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore on Friday 22 November at 7.30p.m.

Sympathy: The death took place on 18th October of Sr. Francis Blackwell, Convent of Mercy, Bridge Gate, Derby, England and formerly of Dromsally, Cappamore. She is survived by her sister Lena, Presentation Convent, Kilcock, Co. Kildare, sisters – in –law , Annie & Phyllis Blackwell, nephews, nieces and Community sisters in Convent.

Quiz Champions: Congratulations to the Cappamore ICA Quiz team who won the Limerick Federation Table Quiz on Monday 18th November in Woodlands Hotel. The team members, Nancy Ryan, Breege McNamara, Betty Fleming and Phyllis Ryan, will now go forward to represent Limerick in the National Final to be held in An Grianán in the new year.
