LOURDES: The Lourdes Autumn pilgrimage is for four nights for €590, departing September 27 to October 1, direct from Shannon. Booking forms available in both Churches or from the Parish Office.

MID-CLARE PTTA: The Mid Clare Pioneers Total Abstinence Association Annual mass and social will be held on Friday October 4. Mass will be at 8pm followed by a meal. To book tickets contact Pat Grue on 061 362629.

ATHLETICS: Shannon Athletics Club training continues outdoors at the athletic grounds and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday at the new time from 6pm to 7pm. New members, aged seven and over, are welcome and all coaches are fully accredited by Athletics Ireland.

CRAFT FAIR: A meeting will be held in Seán Lemass Public Library, Shannon on Tuesday 17 September at 7pm for all those wishing to participate in this year’s Christmas Craft Fair in the library. Please contact library on 061-364266 for more information.

PASTORAL PLAN: The Diocesan Pastoral Plan, “Builders of Hope” will be launched by Bishop Kieran O’ Reilly on this Friday evening at 7:15 p.m. in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul in Ennis in conjunction with the opening evening of the Faith Gathering weekend. The Pastoral Plan 2013-2020 consists of a Vision Statement and a number of strands that point to some of the future key areas to work together on for all people of the Diocese.
