GRAVEYARD MASS: The annual graveyard mass will take place in Cappagh graveyard on this Saturday 14 September at 7.30pm, weather permitting.

NANTINAN GRAVEYARD: The cleanup of Nantinan Graveyard is continuing each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantinan.

WORKSHOP: As part of their “Life’s Journey Series” Lough Derg offers a one day workshop titled ‘Living With Suicide’ on Wednesday 25 September. This day is for adults who have been affected by suicide, either through personal loss or with suicidal ideation, for those ministering to the suicide bereaved or working in support services. LOUGH DERG RETREATS: Lough Derg One Day Retreats have recommenced a guided day of prayer, reflection and renewal. The morning includes Rosary and Way of the Cross as well as Prayers of Intercession and Healing of Memories. FOROIGE: Hey guys hope you all enjoyed our lovely Summer and made the most of the fine weather. We’d like to welcome you all back for the start of the Foroige year. The Club registration is on this Friday September 13th at 8pm. in Cappagh hall. If you are a past pupil of St. James Primary School or from the Cappagh area and in Secondary school, please come along on the night for information and registration. You will need to be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian. There will be some refreshments on the night. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the coming year, we would love to hear from you on the night. See you there.

SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodsfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodsfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.

WATER SCHEME: Second invoices have been sent to those who have monies outstanding. To make collections as easy as possible, please bring your invoiced amount to your nearest representative or to Tony Prendiville. All monies will be receipted. WEST LIMERICK COMMUNITY RADIO: The AGM of West Limerick Community Radio will be held on Tuesday 24th Sept at 8p.m. in the Desmond Complex. Any Submissions/Questions should be handed into the station in a sealed envelope by the 17th Sept , to be answered on the night. Also, a Fundraiser this weekend organized by James O’Connor & Friends.There will a music session on in Foley’s Bar at the Pike in Ardagh on Friday 30th of August at 9.00pm. and all are welcome to join in this great night of Irish music.
