Chruch Gate Collection: Sister Consilio Fitzgearld of Cluan Mhuire, Bruree House would like to thank everyone who contributed to there annual Chruch gate collection in the Three Chruches last weekend. your support was muchly appreciated in these hard times. Thank You.

Communion: Communion for Shanagolden National School will take place in St.Senans Chruch Shanagolden on Saturday 4th May at 11am. Communion for Foynes National School will take place take place in St.Senans Chruch Robertstown on Saturday 18th May at 11am.

Student Exam Mass: The annual student exam mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 11th at 6.30pm in St. Senans Chruch Foynes. This is a very Special time in our student’s lives and we invite all students to partatke in this Mass. We also need volunteers from the parents to help with this special ceremony. St Senans Social Services: Have now opened their day centre in their new facilty in the Community Centre Foynes on Tuesdays at 2pm. You can come along and play Bingo, cards, DVD’s, have a chat, a bit of crack and a cupan tae. we also hope to start our aerobic classes soon. All senior Citizens are welcome.

Volunteers Needed: St.Senans’s as a parish has three churches and normally parking and crowd control is not a issue. However on special occasions where there are large crowds at any ceremony we would like volunteersto Steward the inside and outside of the church. The Stewards will be in place if needed and will be notified prior to the event. If you would like to help to keep everybody safe in the Chruch please give your name to Chris on 087-6826234.

Foynes Irish Coffee Festival: Foynes is hosting its first 5K run on the Sunday of the festival (2nd June).All proceeds will go to charity.Walkers can register on the day for a fee of €5. The closing date for the Powers Irish Coffee Championship which is held during the Irish Coffee Festival Weekend from May 31st -June 2nd is fast approaching so if you work in a Hotel/Pub or Restaurant and would like to compete for this very prestigious title dont delay in contact 069 65416 ASAP. Regional heats will be held in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Tullamore with the winner from each heat going on to compete for the title in June.

Foynes and District Search and Rescue: Foynes and District Search and Rescue are currently looking for volunteers to join the unit. Both male and female volunteers are needed. Any interested people are asked to call to the office any Wednesday evening at 7pm or contact Oliver Moran on 087-2383057

St.Senans GAA: Limerick Senior Footballers: Best of Luck to Ian Ryan and Andrew Lane and the Limerick Senior footballer as they take on Offaly on this coming Saturday in Croke Park at 5pm in the Allianz Division four football final.

Intermediates: Had a dissapointing result last Friady night losing to St.Mary/Sean Finns on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-5 in the West Championship.

Limerick Minor Footballers: well done to James Naughton and James Bridgeman who were part of the Limerick Minor team that was beaten by Waterford last weekend in Dungarven. They are still in the championship and take on Clare this coming Saturday in a Clare venue.

Best Of Luck:Bes t of Luck to Jonathan Hayes, Maurice Fitzgearld, Andrew Lane and Ray O’Flaherty who will be part of the Analog/Stryker/Gencell interfirm team who take on the Galway Guards in the All Ireland Interfirm Senior Football final in Clarinbridge at 7.30pm, Galway on this coming Monday Night.

Croke Park: The club are hoping to organise a bus to Croke Park on this coming Saturday the 27th of April for the div 4 league final to see Limerick play Offaly. Any interested in traveling contact Mike Mullane Tel. 0868164664.

Kelloggs GAA Cul Camps: St Senans are holding a Kelloggs GAA Cul Camp from the 1st to the 5th of July. This camp will cater for boys and girls ages 6 to 13yrs. It will commence on a Monday and run to Friday starting 10am and finishing at 2.30pm. All the different age groups will be accommodated and their will be tournaments and blitzes held in the GAA field in Foynes. Places can be booked on line at www.Kelloggsculcamp.ie or contact your team manager for further information. Each child will receive a Free Kelloggs Gaa Cul camp kit and kit bag. After the success of last years camp this is one not to be missed.

Bord Na Og: The u16 footballers took on Knockainey last Monday night in Foynes and won on a scoreline of St.Senans 2-7 Knockainey 1-6.

U12: The U12 footballers will take on Athea tonight Thursday 18th April at 6.45pm in the GAA Field in Foynes at 6.45pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

U8: The U8 footballer will take part in a Blitz in Gearld Griffins GAA field in Ballyhahill on this coming Saturday 20th April at 6.30pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Membership: Players and members are reminded that their annual memebership is now due for the coming season. Failure to pay this memebership will result in you not being allowed to play.

St.Senans Community Games: Congratulations to Killian O’ Donnell, Shanagolden who received a silver medal in U14 Arts, also to Bretta Madigan who won bronze in the U12 Arts competition.
