Glenbrohane Community association: American tea party will take place in the hall on Saturday 16th after 7:30pm Mass. To join a table contact Teresa Tobin 087-7983412. Fundraiser for Johanna O’Brien fund formally of Griston. €10 per ticket and raffle followed by music by DJ Shane in Tobin’s 10.30pm until close all proceeds to cancer research. Next community meeting at the end of February.

GAELSCOIL agus CAMPA GAEILGE FOR GLEANN RUA: The school community of Glenroe National School – staff, pupils, parents, management and the wider community is embarking on a new and exciting venture in September 2013 to launch Gaelscoil Mhuire, Ghleann Rua. Ghleann Rua is the perfect setting for our school. It is rural but easily accessible being centrally located close to Kilfinane, Kilmallock, Ballylanders and Kildorrery.

The parents committee are organising a “Campa Ghaeilge “which will take place during the Easter school holidays from Tuesday 2nd April to Thursday 4th April. The “Campa” will begin at 10:30am and conclude at 2:00pm each day. Activities will include, Art, Sport, Music, Cookery, Quiz and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Please book early to avoid disappointment as places are strictly limited. We invite prospective pupils and those who have a keen interest in the Gaelscoil to enrol for the Campa with a €5 registration fee. Glenroe/Ballyorgan Active Group: The February meeting of the group will take place in Glenroe Hall on Tuesday, February 19th at 10am. Mary Martin will give a brief talk on First Aid and safety in the home. There will be gentle exercises for an active life with Norma. After refreshments, we will finish with a game of bingo.
