Cloverfield NS: Used Clothing Collection: A collection of used clothing, shoes, handbags, soft toys, etc... will be held at Cloverfield NS on Friday, 9th November, to help raise funds for the school. We would appreciate any donations of filled bags which can be dropped into the school from Monday, 4th November. If you need to have bags collected please ring the school office at 384566 and we will arrange to have somebody collect bags from you. Thank you to all in the community for continued support.
7-a-side football: Well done to our panel who played in the Cumann na mBunscol 7-a-side football league over recent weeks. Though not reaching the final stages of the competition this year, all of the children enjoyed their matches against Caherelly, Barna and Cappamore NSs and we congratulate Barna NS who were the eventual winners this year. Our panel of players included Josh Sheehan (C), Shannon McCarthy, Aisling Barry, Killian Ryan, Niamh O’Dea, Cillian Murphy, Keelan O’Dea, Sean O’Dwyer, Cónaill McGuire, Sinead McCarthy, Aislinn O’Dea and Danielle Ryan.
Mid-term break: Pupils, staff and parents will all be enjoying the mid-term break for the next week before returning to school on Monday, 4th November. Happy Halloween
RAMBLING HOUSE: The next Rambling House will be held on Friday November 1st, 9 to 11p.m. All are welcome.
KILTEELY TIDY TOWNS: fundraising night in Aherns Lounge, Kilteely, Saturday Nov 9, commencing at 9.30pm. Music by Johnny Mc Country Sound. Prizes on door tickets. Admission €5. Your support would be much appreciated.
GET-TOGETHERS: in Cill Bhride on 31st October from 8pm to 10pm. Valuable spot prizes on the night. Hopefully a good crowd will turn up.
CHIROPODIST: The Chiropodist will attend at Cill Bhride on Monday 11th November. Booking as usual to avoid delay.
TIDY TOWNS: Congratulations to the Tidy Towns on getting second prize in their section of Bloom.

Storytelling Festival: Once again young storytellers from Cloverfield NS took to the stage at the Honey Fitz theatre in Lough Gur for the annual Primary schools Storytelling competition. Second class pupils Evan McCarthy and Aoibhe Rodahan were worthy winners of the Junior category with their telling of “The Fox and The Eagle” while sixth class pupil Shannon McCarthy was Highly Commended for her very entertaining telling of “Lazy Jack”.
