The Month’s Mind Mass in Meanus Church on Saturday October 26 at 7.30 p.m. is for Jackie Rourke.

The Vigil Mass for the Feast of All Saints will be held in Meanus Church on Thursday night October 31 at 7.30 p.m.

Mass for All Souls Day will be held on Saturday night 2nd November at 7.30pm

First Holy Communion Children: The second “Do it in memory of me” programme will be held on Sunday, 3rd November at 11 a.m. Mass in Bruff Church for all First Communion Children.

Shoebox Charity Appeal: Shoeboxes for the Charity Appeal will be filled in Meanus Community Centre on Saturday November 9 from 10am until 1.30 p.m. Suitable items such as hats, scarves, gloves, socks, copybooks, pencils, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, toys, and sweets for children under 14 years would be greatly appreciated and can be handed in to the Community Centre on Saturday morning, 9th November. Benefit Fund: A Tractor, Car and Motorbike Benefit Run in aid of Dermot Clohessy and John Walsh will be held at Dempsey’s on Sunday November 10. The bikes move off at 10.30 a.m., the cars at 11.30 a.m. and the tractors at 12.30. The event is being organised by Greybridge Classic Club, Ford Escort Club and Munster Off Road Motorcycle Club.

Death: The death took place last week at Marie Goretti Nursing Home, Kilmallock, of Mary Hogan, Limerick Road. She is deeply regretted by her brothers Jimmie, Stephen, Tom, Mike and Ned, Sister in Law, Nephews, Nieces, Relatives and Friends. Her internment took place in the local cemetery after Mass in St. Mary’s Church Meanus.

Keep Fit: takes place in Meanus Community Centre each Monday night commencing at 8p.m. All welcome to come along and join in the fun as well as getting in shape for the Christmas Festivities.

The Parent Toddler Group meets in the Community Centre, Meanus each Tuesday morning from 9.30 a.m. until 11 a.m. All very welcome to attend.

Set Dancing is held in Meanus Community Centre each Wednesday night, commencing at 8.30 p.m. sharp. All welcome to attend.

Board Na nOg: Bruff u7 hurlers played Ballybricken last Saturday morning for their first time wearing the Bruff colors and they did the colors proud. Bruff got off to a great start with 4 goals in a row with some lovely hurling from both teams and despite a good come back in the last 5 minutes from Ballybricken , the boys held out for a victory. Bruff team Patrick Barry, Conor Clancy. Tristan Connolly, Scot Cronin. Charlie Cronin, Jack Fitzgerald, Jack Frenney, Cathal Garvey, Shane Gunning, Paudie Hennessey, DJ Keenaghan, Sean Nealon and Mark Purtill. Well done to our young stars and thanks to all who supported.

Board Na nOg are holding their annual Family table quiz on Friday 8th November.

Come along with all the family and enjoy a fun-filled evening.

Time 8pm in GAA clubhouse, €20 per table.
