BALLYBROWN/CLARINA COMMUNITY GAMES: Good news this week for our Skittles teams who are continuing on the success of previous years in the game. Our U12 team qualified for the Munster competition following matches in Pallaskenry against Kilteely and Kilfinnane. A strong first round display pushed them ahead and laid the foundation for victory. Consistent scoring throughout from all the team ensured success. Well done to Aoife Gormley, Eoin Kelly, Ian Harty and the Collins brothers Eoin and Diarmuid. The U16 team followed on with a fine display also qualifying for the Munster competition on June 29. This is a very accomplished team with All Ireland Gold achieved by many of them at younger ages. They include Oisin Curtain, Cathal Locke, Adrian McGann, Fiona Hamnon, Eleanor O Brien and Kila Curran. We wish them all the best in the upcoming competition.
