EXAM MASS: Next Saturday, 1 June, there will be a special Mass at 6pm for all those who are preparing for the Leaving and Junior Certificate exams, which will begin next week and continue for the next couple of weeks. This can be a very stressful time for students and families, so please remember them in your prayers during this time.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Congratulations to the children from 2nd class in Cappagh National School, who received their 1st Holy Communion on Saturday last 25 May. They are a credit to their parents, teachers and families. Special thanks to their teacher, Angela Sheehan, for preparing them so well, also to Ms. Murray and the choir for the beautiful singing. They were Scott Ronan, David Carey, Jack Coleman, Jade Gallagher, Emily Hurley, Gerard Madigan, Emma Maune, Tara Roche and Elliot Roche.

MAY PROCESSION: The Annual May Procession in honour of Our Lady will take place on Sunday next, 2 June, immediately after the 10.30a.m. Mass (weather permitting). All those who received their First Holy Communion are especially invited to take part.

NOVENA: Novena in honour of St. Anthony, St John’s Cathedral, Limerick on Wednesday 5 June to Thursday, 13 June. Conducted by Fr. Pat Conlan O.F.M. Mass each day at 10.00am & 7.00pm (Saturday 10.00am & 6.00pm) and (Sunday 10.30am & 7pm). With Novena Prayers, Homily and Blessing with Relic. Anointing of the Sick Friday 7th June, at 7pm. Blessing of Lillies on the final day.

CHOIR: The Wisconsin Lutheran Choir and Chamber Choir will perform in St. Saviour’s Dominican Church, Glentworth Street, Limerick on Thursday, 30th May, 2013 at 7.30 p.m. Admission is free, but all donations made on the night will be given to Milford Hospice.

CAPPAGH COMMUNITY CRÈCHE: We are holding a family fun/open day here in Cappagh Community Crèche on Saturday 8 June from 2-5pm. There will be bouncing castles, face painting refreshments and much more on the day. Please come along for a great day out.

IRISH CLASSES: Ar mhaith le do pháiste/pháistí Gaeilge a fhoghlaim trí cluichí, cómhrá agus craic? Would your child/children like to improve their oral Irish through games, chat and fun with children their own age?? Well now is your chance!! The next series of fun Irish language classes will commence in Kilbeha on Tuesday, April 16th. This class will cater for 3rd-6th class pupils and will be facilitated by Denise Lyons and will be run on a Tuesday evening 8-8.45pm or Wednesday evening 7-7.45pm. Cost is €50 for 6 weeks. NANTINAN GRAVEYARD: The cleanup of Nantinan Graveyard is continuing each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantinan.

SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodsfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodsfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.
