Things like driving licence forms, education grants, family income supplement, back to school allowances and more. This service is free. We have a computer for your use to aid you in any of the services.
coláiste Mhuire News: Physics Trip:- The 6th Year Physics class attended an Experiment Workshop on Wednesday, 16th January at the University of Limerick. This workshop provided an excellent chance for students to carry out experiments using specialised university physics equipment.
2nd Year Parent/Teacher Meeting: Wednesday, 30th January from 4.15 pm - 6.45 pm.
Log on Learn: Transition Year students are offering free, one to one computer training for senior citizens allowing you to learn at your own pace. Classes will run on four consecutive Mondays - February 18th, 25th, March 4th and 11th - 11.30 a.m. -12.45 p.m. A second session will run on May 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd. Anyone interested in carrying on from session one is very welcome. As places are limited do not delay in telephoning 061-392368 to reserve a place. Football: Congratulations to the U16½ Boys Football Team who defeated Killarney Community College on Friday, 18th January. Askeaton overcame Killarney 4-18 to 6-10 in a thriller of a game. They will play Gael Choláiste Tralee in the next round of the Munster Cup.
Soccer: Congratulations to the U17 Boys Soccer Team who defeated Mount Sion, Waterford 2 – 1 on Tuesday, 15th January to reach the Munster Final. Ross Mann and Sean MacSweeney scored Askeaton’s goals. Best Wishes to the U15 Boys Soccer Team who are through to the Minor Munster Semi- Final on Thursday, 24th January. Their opponents for this match will be Coláiste Iosaef, Kilmallock.
Cash for Clobber: Thanks to everybody who supported our recent collection of unwanted clothing to help raise funds for Colaiste Mhuire. Due to the success of this the Parents’ Association will be organising another collection in the Spring. Further details will issue when date is finalised.
