LIMERICK’S Co-Ordination Office, headed by Laura Ryan, has announced it is to re-brand as the Limerick Communications Office.
Established in 2001, the office has been involved in co-ordinating and facilitating projects and initiatives in Limerick, but in recent years has evolved to focus more on proactively promoting the city, and Ms Ryan, a former TV3 legal correspondent who took up the position more than two years ago, said it was now time to rebrand.
“We are re-branding to make sure our name clearly matches, represents and clarifies what we do,” said Ms Ryan.
“We look forward to a year highlighting a range of positive events and good news stories in Limerick, particularly as we celebrate our reign as European City of Sport.”
Mayor of Limerick, Cllr Maria Byrne, said she wished the Limerick Communications Office well this year in its role promoting the very best of Limerick.
“We all need to play our part to promote our city and the Limerick Communications Office plays a key role in getting the good news about Limerick out there,” said Mayor Byrne.
