I AM thrilled to be involved in the inaugural Brian Boru on the Hill Music Festival which runs from April 19 to May 2, in a beautiful setting overlooking the twin villages of Ballina and Killaloe.
The venue is on the grounds of the stunning medieval themed location – Brian Boru On the Hill, bar restaurant and event centre.
In addition to the superb entertainment line-up, this unique boutique festival will also feature a stunning fashion extravaganza which I will host on April 23. It promises to be a most memorable and enjoyable event for all involved.
Tickets are just €15 which includes a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.
Tickets are available now from participating boutiques and from the venue. A donation from the proceeds of the event will go towards the Killaloe Pink Ribbon. See www.brianbourmusicfest.ie for further details
IT was great to be back in Cavan at Hotel Kilmore for their annual wedding fair. The hotel must have one of the biggest function rooms I have seen and like every year, huge crowds flooded in.
I noticed there was a tremendous amount of milliners showcasing their creations. It is great to see that the hats and fascinators are still going strong!
All the Limerick models went down a treat with the crowd.
They were showcasing the latest trends in bridal wear, grooms wear and mother of the bride from shops as far as County Tyrone, which were extremely impressive.
I am looking forward to next year’s fair already.
