WEDDING fever has well and truly gripped the county, with so many engagements taking place over the festive season. The first big wedding showcase of the year was the Wedding Fair Tea Party at the Devon Inn Hotel in Templeglantine. As the attendees arrived they were greeted with cup cakes, tea, and were welcomed by a number of wedding exhibitors who were on hand to advise all the young couples.
While the models made their way through the beautiful function room of the Devon Inn wearing fashion from Finesse of Listowel, Ela Maria of Newcastle West, Brides of Glin, Annettes of Abbeyfeale and Aphrodite Bridal of Newcastle West they were met with great applause from the crowds.
The hair and make-up for the models was extremely stylish and was created by hairdresser Pat O’Neill of Killarney and make-up artists Rachel Guiry of Newcastle West.
On another note, we launched the Mid- West Bridal Exhibition on TV3 on Tuesday morning. While talking to the presenters we discussed the venue at the wonderful University of Limerick Sports Arena.
I think we are so lucky to have a facility like this on our doorstep in Limerick. I am really looking forward to Saturday and Sunday and producing the new catwalk shows. I would recommend the event to all future brides and grooms. For more Information visit The Mid West Bridal Exhibition Facebook page.
