Traditional Music Classes: Traditional music classes will resume in Loughill Resource Centre Monday and Tuesday nights at 7.3opm. New members welcome.
Trad Concert: After our very successful trad concert at the Angler’s Rest in Loughill at Christmas we are scheduled to have our next concert at the same venue St. Patrick’s weekend. This concert promises to be even bigger and better than our last concert. So make sure to mark it into your diary. We will have more details nearer the date.
Trad Concert DVD: The DVD of our first Trad Concert is now on sale. This DVD is selling for €10 each which represents great value for money because it is very entertaining. The music, the songs and the dancing are beautiful. It would make a lovely present for family or friends or people living away from home would love to get this DVD. Yoga: Yoga classes continue in the Resource centre in Loughill every Thursday night at 7.45pm. Contact Mariea at 087/9864800.
Set Dancing: The set dancing lessons continue in the hall in Ballyhahill every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
Ballyhahill/Loughill Guild of the ICA: Ballyhahill/Loughill guild of the ICA will hold their next meeting Tuesday night next February 11 at 8pm in the hall in Ballyhahill. Hope to see all our members there on the night.
Singing Club: West Limerick singing club will hold their monthly singing session this Thursday night February 6 in the Ramble Inn bar in Abbeyfeale at 9.30pm. All are welcome
Valentine’s Ball: The annual Valentines Ball takes place at the Woodlands House Hotel on Friday night February 21. Tickets €50 each. For that you get admission to music in hotel foyer, four course meal with complimentary glass of wine, followed by music to Limerick’s band Final Touch and disco by DJB. A raffle will be held and the prize will include tickets for a great weekend hotel break and numerous other prizes. All proceeds on the night will go to Milford Hospice and Pieta House
Eucharistic Adoration: We would like to thank all those who generously selected times to participate in Eucharistic Adoration in the Parish. If there are any more people who wish to give of their time please contact Fr. O’Leary in the next week or so before the Adoration begins at the beginning of Lent.
Sympathy: The death took place of Patsy Stack, Clounleharde, Ballyhahill and late of Gortdromsilihy, Moyvane. Burial took place in Ahavoher cemetery, Moyvane. Sincere sympathy to his sons, daughters and grandchildren. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
Masses for the week: Mass will be celebrated in Ballyhahill Church on Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings this week at 9am and on Sunday morning at 10am. Masses in Loughill Church on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 6pm.
