OOLA YOUTH CLUB: AGM will take place on 21st Feb at 8pm in Oola Community Centre. New leaders and members are needed for the club to continue. Any exmembers who have turned 18 and would like to get involved as leaders and also any parents interested in having their child join the clubs please come along. Junior club is for primary school aged 8-12yrs and Senior club is for teens up to 17. Youth clubs have been part of Oola community for the past 20 years but without new members and leaders the club will unable to continue. For any questions on the clubs contact Breda McCarthy, Youth Service.
PRESCHOOL: Enrolments for the ECCE Scheme (free pre-school year) for September 2014 are now been taken Children born between 2 February 2010 and 30 June 2011 are eligible to apply. In the interest of ongoing quality the ratio for ECCE children is 8 children to 1 adult. Therefore there are only 8 places available and will be filled when paperwork is completed on a first come first served basis. A limited number of places are also available for children over 2½ years on a part time basis (two days a week).
