IRISH RED CROSS REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION EVENING: The East Limerick Branch of the Irish Red Cross are giving a Practical First Aid Course Registration and Information evening, in their Doon Red Cross Office, Main Street, Doon, County Limerick, on Monday next, at 8pm. CASTLECONNELL ICA: The Guild held their monthly meeting in Lisnagry National School, on Wednesday, January 22. Guest for the evening was Emer Corbett, ACM Centre, who informed the Guild members of the amount of work that went into the restoration of the pre Famine buildings and transformed it into a beautiful community meeting place. She said that there are a large amount of activities going on in the Centre, including ACM Kidz, computer classes, etc., etc. Mary McAlease officially opened the Centre on March 17, 2002 — A day to remember.
FIRST FRIDAY: As this Friday is the First Friday of the month, Holy Communion will be taken to the sick and the housebound.
CHIROPODY SERVICE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS: Chiropody Service for senior citizens will be available on this Friday, in the Health Centre, Castleconnell, at 4.30pm.
