LOCAL WINNER: The Mooch, a five year old gelding, owned by Andrew and Roger English was a convincing winner over 2 miles & 2 furlongs of the compile flat race at Wexford on Friday evening.
Having finished fourth last time out he was quietly fancied and a few locals had him backed. Bred by Roger English he still has the dam and also some half brothers and half sisters. The progeny goes back to the Loughs insh family owned byt the late Dick Coffey of Ballincree.

COFFEE MORNING: Coffee morning in aid of South Tipperary Hospice took place in Donie’s Bar Emly on Sunday July 7 after 11am Mass.
