NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS PILGRIMAGE: The National Grandparents Pilgrimage will take place on Sunday, 8 September 2013 at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, Knock, Co. Mayo. Chief Celebrant: Fr. Fintan Monahan, with Guest Speaker: Sister Briege McKenna O.S.C. and Guest Singer: Dana. Ceremonies include 2pm - Anointing of the Sick and Rosary and at 3pm –Pilgrimage Mass.

NANTINAN GRAVEYARD: The cleanup of Nantinan Graveyard is continuing each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantinan.

COLLECTION: The annual Cappagh Graveyard collection will be held on this Sunday 14 July. Through your generous contributions and the very hard work of the dedicated committee the graveyard is extremely well maintained. Your ongoing support is very much appreciated.

WORKSHOP: As part of their “Life’s Journey Series” Lough Derg offers a one day workshop titled ‘Living With Suicide’ on Wednesday 25 September. This day is for adults who have been affected by suicide, either through personal loss or with suicidal ideation, for those ministering to the suicide bereaved or working in support services. SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodsfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodsfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.
