News in brief: Parteen St. Nicholas GAA Club is committed to support the GAA Anti Drugs policy and they w8ll hold a Drugs Awareness night in Parteen National School on Wednesday 6th March at 7.30pm. A member from the Drugs Squad will give a presentation on the night to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16 and a second briefing for parents. Everyone is invited as the talk is open to both members and all those interested. When we talk drugs, these are not always illegal drugs and often we forget that prescribed medication is also a drug in the wrong hands. This meeting is designed to address the myths that children and indeed adults may have in relation to drugs and the club is happy to play its part. Please spread the word as we want to reach as many children and adults as possible.
