THE WITNESS: A musical by Carol and Jimmy Owens. The Witness is the story of Jesus, told and sung by Peter and the other men and women who knew the Master best. Featuring a great cast and co-ordinated by Fr. Terry Loughran “The Witness” a musical will be presented by the Diocese of Limerick, in the Lime Tree Theatre, Mary Immaculate College, on Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9 at 8pm.

This production which is being staged just before Easter is an ideal opportunity for parishes, youth groups, as well as individuals to participate in a meaningful and reluctant way in the Year of Faith and to enter into the spirit of the season of preparation for the events of Holy Week. Young people would particularly enjoy this musical. You can book your tickets at the Lime Tree Box Office. Tel. 061-774774 or www.limetreetheatre.ie at €15 each.

BINGO: Bingo in the hall, Glenroe on Friday night at 8.30pm. The next bingo in Ballinvreena hall will be February 27 at 8.30pm.
