It is great for the city to have so many fashion shows taking place over the next few weeks, and all to raise money for very worthwhile charities. The first one up is Fashion for Passion which will be held in the strand hotel on March 27. This is extremely unique and the proceeds are going towards the production of the re enactment of the Easter story in the parish of Pallasgreen. This event has caught the imagination of so many including groups from Great Britain, France, USA and Denmark.

This event is a first and its unique location lends itself perfectly to the most dramatic story ever told.

Next date for your diary is a fashion fundraiser for Crecora church and this will take place in the Woodlands Hotel on Thursday April 3 . All proceeds will be going towards the restoration fund as the church is celebrating 150 years this June. Both these events will give you a great insight into fashion trends if you are looking for something different for that special event, like communions, confirmations, weddings etc. Fitzgeralds Woodlands Hotel is a wonderful place to spend an evening and enjoy great fashion.

Last weekend I was invited to speak at a style and wedding event at the Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa. There was an audience of more than 200 women who enjoyed a vast selection of clothes from boutiques in Clonakilty. The models and I stayed overnight and woke to the sound of the wild Atlantic ocean and the breathtaking Inchydoney beach. It is certainly one of my favourite places in Ireland. I hope to feature some of the fabulous fashions in the near future on Ireland AM from some amazing boutiques that I worked with on the event.
