Pageant: Mary at Calvary: a creative pageant of the Good Friday Story in St. Nicholas’ Church, Westbury. Time: 8.00p.m. All welcome.

HOLY SATURDAY: 9.45am Morning Prayer in St. Munchin’s Chapel.

9.00pm Solemn celebration of the Easter Vigil. Gather in our Church

grounds for lighting the Paschal fire and procession with the Paschal Candle.

EASTER SUNDAY: Dawn Mass will be in Shannon Fields, Irish Estates,. Please gather at 6.00 am and join us as we celebrate Sonrise. This will be followed by breakfast for all in Stapleton’s home, Shannon Drive.

At our 10.30 am Mass some children will dance in Easter for us. We would love everyone to join us for these liturgies and celebrations.

SYMPATHY: We offer our deepest sympathy to Patrick McNamara and family, Fernleigh, Westbury, on the recent deaths of his brother Gerard and Mother Agnes at their home in Maple Court, Kennedy Park, Limerick.

REFELCTIVE AND INSPIRATIONAL EVENING: Facilitated by Hilary Musgrave and Monica Brown. An uplifting, inspirational evening for all who are seeking to enrich their faith! Weaving together music, scripture imagery and ritual with selected readings from their Croí Nua Programme of Renewal for Ireland, Monica and Hilary will provide participants with a creative and prayerful space to celebrate their faith and their experience of God in the reality of their daily lives. PARISH VISITATION: This will be taking place soon after Easter. We would love another 20 people to get involved. Time involvement is approximately 2 hours, with a celebration in May!! If interested please give your name to Dympna or the priests.

DESIGN A LAPEL PIN COMPETITION: Design a lapel pin for Limerick Going for Gold! Limerick Going for Gold is inviting all primary, secondary and third level students in Limerick to design a lapel pin. The theme of the lapel pin should be to instil pride in Limerick. The overall winning entry will be made into a gold plated lapel pin and will serve as part of a marketing campaign to promote Limerick and the Going for Gold initiative. The competition is open to Primary, Secondary and Third level students attending Limerick schools or third level institutions. The winning prize fund is €7,500. The schools will receive the prize fund in both the primary and second level categories and the winning individuals will receive the prize in the third level category. Download the entry form from for the Design a Lapel Pin competition and ensure you include the following information with your entry: Name, age, home address, home/mobile telephone number, School/college name, school/college address and telephone number, Signature of your parent, teacher or guardian where applicable. Include a brief description of your design. The design can be any shape, but please keep in mind that when it is produced it will be a small pin, so avoid too much text or ‘cluttered’ design elements. LIMERICK GOING FOR GOLD: The Limerick ‘going for gold’ campaign is continuing in 2013. The campaign aims to make Limerick a cleaner, brighter place to work, live and visit.Going for Gold encourages businesses, community groups and individuals to improve their areas by getting involved in the national Tidy Towns Competition and generally improving their areas and reducing the impact of litter across the City. Limerick City Council in association with the JP McManus Charitable Foundation is encouraging everyone to get involved. Once again a €50,000 prize fund has been confirmed for Going for Gold Competition. It is likely that there will be some changes to last year’s Going for Gold categories and these along with the possibility of additional categories will be announced at a later date.

ACCORD: One of the ways that the Church in Ireland supports marriage is through the work of ACCORD. ACCORD is an Irish voluntary Catholic organisation that aims to promote a deeper understanding of Christian marriage and to offer people the means to safeguard and nourish their marriage and family relationships. FOR ALL SENIOR CITIZENS: Old time dancing, cabaret and exercises to music is available at Pery’s Hotel, Glentworth Street on Tuesday eveingt8ng. Music is provided by the resident band and is suitable for all age groups.

LECTURES FOR THE YEAR OF FAITH: Public Lecture Series: Tuesdays 5.00p.m. (Room 202) Mary Immaculate College. On Tuesday 9 April Professor John Hayes will speak on: Hope beyond reasonable expectation. On 16 April Dr. Andrew Pierce will speak on Anglican Spirituality and on 22 April Ms Myra Hayes will talk on the Spirituaqlity of John and its expression in stained glass windows.
