FARM SHOP: Cappagh Community Council wish to thank those who supported the market in the hall before Christmas. A total of €635 was raised and this go towards heating the hall for groups using it over the winter.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS: Many thanks to everyone who helped in any way in making the Christmas celebrations and church so special for parishioners and visitors alike. Special thanks to those who decorated the church and grounds and helped to put things away during the past week. Thank you to all parishioners who support this parish on a weekly basis. Your contributions ensure that we can make Cappagh a place of warmth and welcome for all. I’m especially grateful to all those who so generously support the Dues collection. As you are no doubt aware this is the sole income for the priests of the parish and your support helps to ensure the continued presence of a priest in the parish. Please God, 2014 will be a good year for you all, as we journey together as a community.

CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE: We would like to thank everyone that helped out at Cappagh house this year to make the Cappagh Christmas Experience another huge success, thank you to all the volunteers that helped out during both days, it was great to see some new faces this year. None of this would have been possible without our gracious hosts, Michael and Betty Morrissey. Thank you both for opening up your home and allowing us to create this wonderful experience for so many families and also raise money for some well-deserved causes. €2,204.00 was raised in total, €1,704.00 was donated to St Gabriels in Limerick and €500.00 was donated to a local worthy cause in our own parish. See you all in December and hopefully we will do it all over again. Happy New Year from The Cappagh Christmas Experience.
