Charity 5k: The Feale 5k fun run/walk will take place on Sunday, June 23rd at 11.30am commencing at the Railway Bar, Abbeyfeale. The event is in aid of the Neurological Appeal Fund at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Light refreshments will be served afterwards and no registration is required. County Championship: Abbeyfeale is the venue for round two of the County Senior Football Championship on this Saturday evening, where Mountcollins face a daunting task against the reigning county champions, Drom/Broadford. The game has an 8pm throw in time. The local side are just a shadow of the team that enjoyed much success in recent years with emigration and retirements having decimated their chances at senior level. Hopefully, Saturday nights lineout can give a good performance and we wish them the best of luck.
