LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Congratulations are extended to well known farmer and IFA activist Joe White who was presented with life membership of the IFA. President John Byrne at the county AGM held in Ennis last week said it is a well deserved honour for Joe who had spent two weeks in Limerick prison for his part in the farmer’s rights campaign in 1967. He was nominated for the position by the Cratloe branch which is fifty years in existence this year.

TABLE QUIZ: A fundraising table quiz in aid of Pieta House which assists suicide prevention takes place in Setright’s on this Saturday night. It is an adults only night and a very large crowd is expected.

GAA CLUB AGM: The AGM of Cratloe Gaa Club takes place in the Club House on Saturday, February 9. All members are requested to attend.
