Camogue Rovers GAA club: A medal presentation night to present both the South Football league and championship medals was held at the Hogan Stand bar in Meanus on last Saturday night 26th January. The Chairman of the club, Paddy Cusack introduced the Guest who was well known Senior County Footballer Stephen Lavin from Adare. Stephen presented the Medals to the team whose captain Antony Punch thanked all who were involved during the year and hoped for even greater success on the field of play next year. A presentation was also made to the manager, Jim Cronin and selectors Jodie Corbett and Dan Sullivan.
Cards: Winners at last Sunday night’s cards in Meanus were: Maureen Haigney and Willie O Brien, Ursula and Mattie McKeogh.

Keep- Fit: Keep-Fit has resumed in Meanus Community Hall after the Christmas break and is held each Monday night commencing at 8 p.m. All welcome to attend.
Set Dancing: has also resumed in the Community Centre and is held each Wednesday night commencing at 8.15 p.m. All welcome to come along and join in the fun.
Death: Sympathy is expressed to the Toomey Family, Camass, on the death of Maureen Toomey former Ward Sister of Waterford Regional Hospital, Ardkeen who died last week. She is survived by her brothers, sisters , nieces, nephews many relatives and friends.
