SYMPATHY: We offer our sympathy to the relatives and friends of Catherine Hennessy (nee Lowry) Brookhaven Walk, Mill Road, who died recently. Catherine’s body was laid to rest on Thursday last in Rathdowney, Co. Laois.

CELEBRATION FOR ALL OUR YOUNG VOLUNTEERS: To show appreciation for the large amount of young people who are volunteers in our Parish, the Pastoral Council is planning a special celebration on Thursday Feb 7. Mass will be at 7pm.
All leaders / coordinators involved with the young people in liturgical events are asked to forward the names of members to Dympna on or before January 22. LECTURES FOR THE YEAR OF FAITH: T he Department of Theology and Religious Studies, Mary Immaculate College, is proud to announce a Public Lecture Series to celebrate the Year of Faith. Every Tuesday at 17.00 hrs, (Room 202) an invited guest speaker will deliver a lecture on a topic that relates to Christian Spirituality. The Lecture series is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
