The officers elected are as follows Chairman: Robert O Dea, secretary: Robert Holmes, Treasurer: John o Dea, PRO: Valerie Greene, assistant chairperson: Eileen Jones. We discussed much during the meeting, one area of concern which does need public meeting in order to discuss it further is fundraising. We are holding a public meeting on weds February 6th in Cill Bhride at 8:30. We would expect all community groups who do fundraising to have at least 2 representatives present. We realise that receiving grants for any project in our community has become more difficult in recent years, also raising the matching funding from our community is also extremely difficult. We believe that a whole community approach to such fundraising is more practical and also beneficial to all in our community. This is an important meeting which will benefit our community for years to come - please support
