MASS: The first anniversary mass for Susan Roche will be held on this Saturday night at 7.30pm.

NANTINAN GRAVEYARD: The cleanup of Nantinan Graveyard is continuing each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantinan.

CRÈCHE AGM: The AGM of Cappagh Community Crèche will take place on Wednesday 16 October at 7.45pm in the Creche.

PARISH HISTORIES:A book on the history of all the parishes in the Diocese will be available to purchase shortly. Cappagh are getting 100 copies of this book. This book is a once off publication and will cost €20, normally would retail at €35. To secure a copy of this publication, please leave your name into the sacristy with €20. Please bear in mind that there is only 100 copies for Cappagh. This book would be a lovely Christmas present.

STORIES: Limerick City Museum and Archive is hoping to hold an exhibition next year entitled Limerick City of Churches. As part of this exhibition we are looking for people willing to contribute their stories of how the churches in Limerick shaped not only their city but also their lives.For example what is their favourite church in the city and why they chose to attend that one above others. YOUTH SEMINAR: A seminar is taking place Octobe 8 in the Devon Inn Hotel Templeglantine Co Limerick at 7pm in conjunction with Limerick Social Service Council Ltd. Admission Free. Speakers on the night will be Dr. Jennifer McMahon BA PhD and Dr. Amanda Fitzgerald BA PhD. Topics of discussion will be; Understanding Youth Mental Health What youth mental health is and how we can support it. What helps and what hurts?. The importance of reaching out. There will also be input on the night from transition year students, Coláiste Íde agus Íosef. Various exhibitors on the night.

EVENING COURSES: Colaiste na Trocaire, Rathkeale, are offering a full range of evening and weekend courses commencing week beginning 30 September. SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodsfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodsfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.
