Dialysis Fundraiser: A Fundraising night in aid of the Dialysis Unit at Limerick Regional will be held at the Flag Floor, Glensharrold Carrickerry on this Friday March 1st at 9.30pm.This is expected to be a great night of the best of traditional entertainment with music, songs and dancing. Salesian College: It’s show time again in Salesian Secondary Collage Pallaskenry and this years production is the wonderful family show ‘The Wiz’ !This musical is a modern adaptation on the classic tale ‘The Wizard of Oz’. This is a wonderfully colorful, energetic show which follows the original story but with a few new surprises thrown in along the way !Some of this years stars include Aimee Jones as Dorothy, Aaron Coughlan as The Wiz himself, Josh Fitzgerald as the Scarecrow, Jake Guerin as the Tinman, Ryan Kelly as the Lion, Lisa Blackwell as the wicked witch Evilenne, Holly Cussen as the good witch Addapearl and Zoe Lyons as the good witch Glinda. With a cast of over 50 transition year students, this is sure to be a wonderful evenings entertainment !This is a fabulous family show and we would like to extend a welcome to you to attend. St. Senans GAA: Our Seniors will take on Listowel Emmets in a challenge match on this Friday night underlights in Listowel at 8pm. Please support the boys.
County Development Draw: The 2013 draw commences at the end of the month. This is one of the most important fundraiserthat the club promotes. As well as promoting the GAA in the county and offering very attractive prizes, it also gives 50% of the money collected to the local club to help run affairs. Once again we appeal to the people in our community for support. The draw runs over ten months and cost 10 euro a month. People have the option also of giving 100 euro at the start or availing of the direct debit system. Gumshields: Please note that the new Gaelic football regulations on compulsory wearing of gumshields in all underage groups from under 8’s to Minors for matches and training sessions came into force from January 1st. Players will not be allowed to participate in games unless they are wearing a gumshield.
