TLC4CF go for two in a row with new book

TLC4CF, the regional branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland founded by friends and family of people with Cystic Fibrosis in the Mid West, is to launch a second volume of their Food4Thought cookery book.

The first volume of the book was a major success, selling out its first print run and raising in excess of €110,000 for the building of the Adult In & Out Patient Specialised Unit for CF sufferers at Mid Western Regional Hospital.

However, for TLC4CF its fundraising continues as the units need to be equipped with beds, respirators, monitors and therefore, the organisation is launching Food4Thought, Volume 2.

Again compiled by Breda O’ Shaughnessy, volume two of the book contains more recipes and boasts the same high standards of photography and presentation and will be a “wonderful addition to any kitchen library” according to TLC4CF.

The book will be launched by Geri Maye at the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare, on Thursday November 3 at 8pm.
