Exercises for Active Older Adults: Osteofit – Exercise for strong bones and good balance. Osteofit classes restarted on Wednesday 15th January in Monaleen GAA Hall at 2.00pm. The class is aimed at healthy independent active older adults. It involves a warm up, followed by exercises to help prevent falls and improve balance, strength, posture and bone density as well as some flexibility and relaxation. There is no commitment from you. You can come along whenever you can. Find out more on You are invited to a complimentary first class and then the cost is €8.00 per session. Regulars and newcomers always welcome.

Castletroy Comhaltas: Branch classes have resumed every Thursday evening in the Don Bosco Centre behind Milford Church. Classes in musical instruments, singing and dancing. For more info call Majella on 086-8946360.

G.A.A. News: The Lotto Jackpot was won last week. The Jackpot was €13,300. Well done to the lucky winner! Numbers drawn were 2, 7, 14 and 22. The Jackpot reverts to €3,000 this week. Our Lotto volunteers will be out in force soon signing up for our upcoming lotto season. We would welcome your support.

Set Dancing Classes: Have resumed after the Christmas break in the Clubhouse, Thursdays, 7.30p.m to 9.00p.m. All are welcome and a great evening promised. €7.00 per person.

Family Support Programme: For those affected by someone else’s drug/alcohol/gambling addiction or abuse, free each Thursday, 8 – 9.30m in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Denmark Street. No booking required, just drop in.
