MASS OF REMEMBRANCE: November is the month when we particularly remember our dead. We are aware that there are quite a number of people in our community who have lost a love one during the year. We also said goodbye to some of our parish members.
And many of us are grieving the loss of loved ones who died perhaps many years ago. Grieving takes a long time.
A special Mass of Remembrance is being prepared to remember all our loved ones. This will be on Thursday 28 November at 7.00pm. in St. Nicholas’ Church.
At this we will have a candle lighting ceremony, prayers and reflections, which we hope, will bring hope, comfort, and peace to many.
CHURCH GROUNDS: We are very concerned about those young people who loiter on the church grounds and sadly have caused a lot of damage to property. Again we appeal to parents to take responsibility and talk to their children about respect for all property.

We need the volunteers for a year, or at least if they can come for three months and if there can be a continuation of other volunteers to replace them. I look forward to hearing from you and really hope that you will find more volunteers for our Mission here at City of Hope.”
